STSSF 2008 Sense-ational Workshop

Students had ”snots” of fun at the 2008 STSSF Science Fair!

Science fair participants learned about the five senses during the 2008 STSSF workshop called “Making Sense of Your Super Sensational Senses”.  The workshop, presented by the BCC Biology Department, gave students the opportunity to explore their five senses through various demonstrations and activities.  Students learned about what it means to be a “super taster”, viewed some incredible optical illusions, used their sense of touch to read, tested their vestibular systems and even made some fake mucous (see picture above).
